Environment Setup

Before you start, you need:

1. A computer (Windows or Linux) - Mac is NOT supported for testnet

2. Docker (we'll install this if you don't have it)

3. Internet connection

That's it!

Important: This guide will help you create a Regular Node, not a Service Node. Regular nodes help maintain the network by storing the blockchain and relaying transactions, but they do not provide service node functionality.

Service nodes will be added in the next testnet phase.
